I hope you’re right and I lean that way too. However, more orgs are closing their doors. CDL and OWL laid off their whole staff basically. Halo player base keeps on shrinking. Orgs supporting Halo keeps on shrinking. Lots of reasons to think this could be it. Definitely wanted to go to Worlds this year thinking it could be the last year.

You need to have an economical balance. If you have less player, less attendance and less vievership, you can't keep having very high expediture. You need to cut cost.
We all know first thing is going to be Oceania region, maybe Mexico and Europe too. But prize pool like Worlds is the same. Of course they could lower the prize pool BUT make crowdfunding with in-game shop.

Hey everyone! I was directed here by Halo Support Chat I had an interesting question. So I was curious after watching the trailer for the HCS Year 2 Playoff Skins I noticed that some of the OpTic skins in particular had the OG emblem on the armor but if I’m not mistaken that particular emblem was locked behind the actual armor core when the Year 1 OpTic skin was released? Does anyone else know how they were able to apply it or have I missed something? I’ve bought every OpTic bundle that has been released and I’ve only seen that emblem as being locked under my list.

CNForeman asked "Why even play the games" as a joke, because you stated it's basically a given that Optic will come out first in their pool, and Divine Mind last.

But it's still important for them to play all the games, because depending on how many matches the other 2 teams can win/lose against Optic and DM could determine which team gets 2nd and which team gets 3rd.

I only heard recently that Onyx players are not able to 4 stack in Ranked. Since when and why is this a thing?

It bothered me regarding there being too much of a gap to play with friends with different ranks, e.g. Gold can't play with Plat *

I sucked it up and thought that it was fine and that there was a reason however, regarding the Onyx not being able to 4 stack, come on...

In my humble opinion this is going too far, and how are teams meant to practice let alone play with each other?

This is Ranked, why should highly ranked players be at the cost of those complaining because they can't rank up. Simple fix, build a team and get better & stop complaining.

What are your opinions and how do you feel about this?

Onyx 1600 and above can’t run as a 4 stack, which I’m happy with. I solo q onyx mostly and it’s so annoying when I run into a 4 stack and get triple capped the whole game.

To fix this problem, we need a solo/duo playlist like h5. That’s where I spent most of my time. Due to the population currently, we can’t have such a thing.

Our 8’s community is pretty active and populated. So if you have a team you wanna play with, you can just start up 8s with another team. Most programs have ranking systems and tournaments for friendly scrims

The population for Halo 3 was way bigger and if you match one 4 stack, you most likely won't match them again. In infinite, I match the same 4 stack over and over and over.

Not letting us play with plat and gold players balances everything out so that we don't crush the competition which is common sense.

Ranked and competitive play is even matches based on skill. Having a 4 stack is a huge advantage and is unbalanced for those solo q'ing therefore making it uneven.

The skill of onyx players is a huge difference than the skill of gold/plat. For example, yesterday morning i played against Taulek and Cherised who were que'ing together while I had two d3 teammates. Those two made a huge difference in the game just based off their skill and demolished the competition. Even onyx vs mid/low diamond is a advantage for onyx players. Should be obvious why no one under onyx should que with them.

Funnily enough, my first point of agreeing with limiting Plat and Gold being able to play together is redacted

Why shouldn't you be able to play with your friends who are Gold? Why shouldn't that be your choice?

Like I said, why was this not the case for Halo 5? Because it wasn't that big of a deal

Like I said, its a matter of compromise and too much compromise, compromising the friendship of multiplayer experience

Anyway I won't go further, as I don't see that point (Gold/Plat) going any further

No, that is pretty normal. But that bots are not rightly configurated however... (and that work with "drop" not been a forbidden word)

The slow mod is only at 3 sec with 30k too... that's not normal. 30k is always at least 20 sec to moderate correctly with at least 3/4 mods
