HCS needs to be more transparent and treat those orgs better.

-S2 roadmap needs to be released before HCS Worlds in Seattle, ideally before Orlando.
-There needs to be some second tier form of partnership with Orgs, perhaps an extension of the grassroots program, to keep them engaged and enticed while trying to build to T1 partnership status.
-Reward effort. KCP not getting partnership is still insane
-Hire more people now! Tashi's interview on LVT said one of the biggest reasons they won't add more than 3 new partners is because the HCS team isn't ready or equipped to handle that many new relationships. Fix that ASAP.

HCS carried the torch for Infinite while the game struggled deeply in the months after release. But I fear that the mismanagement of the game at large is now leaching into the HCS side and it's starting to crack.

KCP abandoned COD and Valorant, the only players they have left are in Rocket League, one guy in Madden, and a Splitgate team apparently (lmao). This isn’t a great look financially when you’re trying to get partnered, if the org isn’t stable enough it doesn’t matter how “great” their reach with fans is. The fact that they dropped Halo a month after being denied partnership only confirms it. Combine that with their unprofessional behavior and HCS know they made the right choice. Smaller orgs like G1 got denied too and you don’t see them acting like children on Twitter or dropping out

I feel you and somewhat understand what you're saying.

But if you actually read what happened right after the partnership denial, and then watch the video from yesterday, it sounds like the issue isn't just the partnership issue.

KCP stated immediately after that while disappointed, they will stay in HCS and continue to support their team.
However, in the video from yesterday, what they were hinting at is that HCS was not giving them enough communication for what the future holds.

And if you watch Tashi's interview on LVT it's true. HCS has no way to communicate to orgs what they need to do in order to secure a partnership.
That's a problem.

It's like if you were to apply for a job, with a description of responsibilities, but no prerequisites listed - get denied from the job - and have no idea why.

It all boils down to money, Tashi could have told them "ok guys, go get more successful and financially stable, then we'll talk" but I don't think anyone wants to hear that. I don't think there's a tangible checklist with requirements to get partnered, so I don't really know what HCS could have told them, especially if it's about money. It's not like KCP can just flip a switch and become more stable, and it's not HCS responsability to get them there if the partnership balance doesn't go in their favor. I feel for KCP fans but HCS, especially in it's beginning for Infinite, have nothing to gain from partnering small unstable orgs that could shaft them in the long run. eSports is a business before anything else and it's a cutthroat one at that, it sucks for sure but that's how it is

Extend Grassroots to mid/small tier orgs. Expand the travel coverage program for qualifying teams to include a little something more.

Tier 1 - Everything
Tier 2 - Emblem etc.

Don't have to give all the orgs everything on the platter, but a tease is good for them to encourage to invest/grow.

Envore might have been their best player and not sure what happened there, but he is teamless now. Rammy is solid but was a downgrade. SuperCC is sick on a good team IMO. Needs a better spot. This team is struggling and obviously stuff is happening we don’t know about.
