Halo 3-4? Well, after 2's events, Earth lost a lot of population (Mostly due to evacuations+Refugees), then regained a lot through yet more refugees and rebuilding. It continued to build population (Including Covenant expats, due to the complete collapse of the Covenant) afterwards, but was otherwise mostly in a state of rebuilding.

Cortana's invasion of Earth mostly incurred massive social paranoia, but outside of Australia and New Phoenix, little actual noticeable change from 3-4.

Iirc I was there for 1 hour and 30 minutes. It was genuinely baffling how we survived that long. Map choice and weapon communication will definitely be the best bet. Pulse Carbine with heatwave add on is easily the best weapon, but it can also one-shot you if you shoot it at an angle.

If you ever get the homies on, definitely play zombies. You’ll get far with team work

It’s subjective, but most might say 2.

Found out what's causing your heavy aim and making aiming extremely delayed. It's your Deterministic Reprediction that you guys introduced somewhere around circa 2-3 years ago with your guys' iteration at fixing desync. Desync already wasn't that big of a problem, but you guys inverted the server/client side reconciliation in order to solve problems that weren't that big to begin with. I'd much rather deal with the occiasional desync, and dying behind walls, than having heavy aim and my aim input literally delayed. It inverts the gaming experience to be technically correct, while completely ruining user experience. This is why everyone has been creating "input lag fixes" videos over the past 2-3 years. It's because they have been trying to solve an unsolveable problem, introduced because you guys added Deterministic Reprediction. You might have technically "fixed" desync, but literally broke every client side input by adding considerable latency which makes aiming and movement and inputs feel sluggish, all due to the new server side latency compensation code and technique you guys decided to implement.

This is all referenced in this reddit post right after the you guys added the new latency compensation rework. I'm gonna post a screenshot of the above referenced reddit post as to what I'm talking about, as well as a comment that I believe talks about the issue directly and is really over the target as to what the actual issue is.

Again client side prediction is good, it's what allows for instant input on the players side which makes for a seamless experience, like infinite WAS year 1-3 until the latency compensation rework was added.

So to summarize, it's either Deterministic Reprediction from the server thats causing the issue, or the inverted latency compensation technique you guys decided to use that's causing extreme input issues client side. Again, the average player would much rather deal with the odd getting killed behind walls, and the occasional desync, than having literally all of their inputs delayed so that some people with high latency can have a somewhat better experience. It's not good. Wanted to finally solve this and I'm glad I've honed in on the issue. Can you get a developer to give a response to this? I would play the game again if these issues were reverted and the game worked as intended. Thanks.
