Like, the MA5K Avenger should've had more changes to it for the base model, as ultimately, the front half is the only thing different from the MA40 (Thankfully the MA5K Hush model fixes this for me) and the Fuel Rod SPNKr feels less like a unique weapon and more like someone gave the Covenant plans for the SPNKr and produced their own version of it

No, it wasn't.
Nothing was ever confirmed for Halo Infinite in regards to future campaign / story content at all.
The only thing that was ever said is Chris Lee said Halo Infinite was supposed to be a "10 year game", and that we wouldn't get another sequel Halo title after it.

This same individual left the studio a couple months later, and not a single representative of 343i or Microsoft ever brought the "10 year plan" idea up again either.

Okay well i don’t keep up with official statements made by insiders, but i have read a bunch of comments on YouTube being upset about future campaign dlc being scrapped or something along the lines of story content that actually was read having been canceled for whatever reason
