That game has a few frustrating achievements in it. One is beating the story on Master difficulty which isn't too different from Halo's Legendary. Another one is beating a certain time in the gauntlet.

Both are doable but not everyone has that kind of time.

I know that the big screen is of course more impressive, but I'd actually cast my vote for watching it at your own pace over the break, because they're quality cuts and very long. That way, you can consume them while you're "hungry" as opposed to being forced to proceed through the three huge courses on a track. Just my personal opinion after watching both theatrical and extended a few times.

After watching the extended versions, I don't know how they could cut them down further into the theatrical versions. Must have been very painful.

just got through cairo station on legendary and i honestly dont know how to feel about the gameplay. it definitely requires patience but idk if its exactly FUN for me to just wait for my shield to regen CONSTANTLY during battle

thats honestly one thing i wish more halo games did (and they kinda did with the second health thing) but i really liked the health pack system of ce which was removed in 2 and 3, and then returned in reach

did halo introduce the whole auto health regen thing?

I always find it funny that people are somehow shocked that it's Steve Downes' favorite Halo.

Del Rio's thought process is actually pretty sound when you take into account the actual situation he's in, and it's part of the reason the game itself has to frame him as a bad guy.

The UNSC was operating off the assumption this was a normal Forerunner planet having an odd response. He and the Infinity did not know what was waiting for them, which is why Palmer and Lasky don't lament nor strictly criticize Del Rio for sending advance recon parties. In a normal first contact scenario, the assumption that the Infinity could cover the recon teams would be salient.

His logic was sound assuming that it was not an abnormal response.

It runs into a flaw in that he assumed wrongly.

I could do pinning but I don't like doing that with smaller plastic minis if I don't have to.
