Got some thoughts on how infinite's story could be improved.

Could. Without adding any extra scenes. Just tweaking what's there.

For instance. Having chief slowly loose more and more control over himself with the dead spartans he finds. Griffon being the last straw. Maybe he throws something or destroyes an object. Smt of that nature.

After which he collects himself but clearly angry. Maybe (this is too much prolly) but adjust his animations to be more aggressive and bump sprint speed after this point.

Been playing a bit more of Halo 4 and honestly…this game gets better as it goes

I find the first few missions a bit eh, but when the Didact wakes up things really pick up

I do really like some of the guns and I love how sparing they make ammo, it forces me to constantly adapt and plan ahead with my weapon choices

It illuded to the possibility. But those particular terminals are speculated to be written by frank o connor. Who seemed to be one of only a handful of bungie staff who weren't on board with the humans and forerunners being one in the same.

And that's ignoring writting priority. As the rest of the campaign says you are forerunner. Even 343 guilty spark himself says as much.

Not to mention other terminals lead into the forerunners and humans being the same. So for all purposes. 4 did retcon the forerunners. And to say otherwise is extremely dishonest.

It's fine to prefer the retcon. I myself prefer the retcons from 2 cutting the covenant from understanding halo or them speaking english. But it is still a retcon. A change made years after the fact that radically alters the story and intent.

And in all honesty makes the trilogy make less sense.
