Nah, while it was a bit controversial at first, 2 melee kills ultimately make melee combat more fun.

But I think Melee damage should be tuned so it does exactly enough damage to shields to break it, and exactly enough damage to health to kill from a shield break.

So it's exactly one to break shields and one to kill. Not the arbitrary 60% shields is enough to kill nonsense.

I honestly think recapturing the things about Halo that it did differently from other games on the market is the best way forward.

Dual Wield is one of those things. No other game did dual wield the way Halo did it. And none really have since.

A lot of people point to Bungie's quote during Halo 2 of "If you spawn players with an SMG, all they do is Dual Wield" as the culprit. But they fixed the problem in the same game's lifecycle by creating BR starts.

And in H3 they tried to make the AR the main weapon and had to add BR starts a couple of months in because it still wasn't working out.

It wasn't Dual Wield that was the problem, it was the weakness of the SMG/H3 AR on their own.

Yeah, Helldivers is sick for that. And on the off chance they do a big temporary event, like the invasion of Super Earth or going to Oshaune, they add the new gameplay elements to other parts of the game so you don't miss out on it.

Exclusivity sucks for everyone including the company making the console.

Console makers lose money on every console they sell. This is just the business model. They make it back in software sales.

First party developers also rarely do much more than break even on their exclusive games.

So do exclusives sell consoles? Yeah they do. But they sell consoles to people like me that have a preference for their console and they end up with a ps5 and 2 whole games that were both exclusive so they barely made anything off of me if that didn’t all.

Not really. Air link is perfectly fine for me at least. If you don’t mind a little lag, and not crystal clear quality then you’re good. But you gotta have a strong pc and a strong WiFi connection for it.

I don’t have an Ethernet cord but it’s recommended to use one with air link for your pc.
