It's lowkey easier the less drained you are from my personal experience at least. Especially with longer missions, alot of the time I just quit at a checkpoint and then reloaded in the next day and suddenly it was ten fold easier

I got stuck on the ark with the scarab fight as the choppers always targeted me and on the covenant the first tower broke me as a person as I spent 4 hours on it but kept on dying as I couldn't find any grenades or does energy drains and cortana broke me in hell hallway and the thing you have to climb and the last mission I couldn't beat because of the tower being swarmed with flood to the point I was being spawn killed
