i was watchin the halo infinite multiplayer cutscene things and noticed they literally animated and added sound effects for drones 🤨 but obviously, there arent any, anywhere in the game

and on the note of halo infinites multiplayer story arc... what is up with the recurring theme of picking up a story in halo, just to abandon it? first there was the spartan ops in halo 4... halo 5 comes around, they just instantly kill jul and you never hear about any of it again. okay. in halo 5 theres the guardians and AI like rebellion, in halo infinite that conflict is already over and only alluded to, despite it being a major aspect of the story... and then now in infinite theres the awakened or whatever and then also the multiplayer story. the MP story is 100% abandoned but what about the new guys? what are the odds they just ditch that whole aspect for the next mainline halo game???

Chief has always had human moments, but the plot of an emphasis on the chief's struggle and possible lack for humanity was not a thing until 4, during the original trilogy it was just a part of his character, sure he was a soldier but he was still rather human, halo 4 put more of a spotlight on a different approach where chief is an emotionless machine to many as he struggles with seeing himself as a human. One derived from the other, but not the same.
