just read HCS announcement and tbh i can see it why they are cutting major support for halo infinite

I think that HCS suffers a lot is due to games inconsistencies:

• A lot of players play Halo because of the amazing world building and story, and because of 343 failing to deliver a game with great story telling and flood infested issues. A lot of players are not interesed at all, which drives away new and young talents for HCS.

• One of the best thing i love about Halo Infinite is having Singleplayer and Multiplayer separately, players dont need to play the Singleplayer to enjoy the Multiplayer. And they can test out the gameplay mechanics and if they enjoy it, they can spend money on the store and buy the singleplayer to enjoy the story even more.

• With Halo studio next game being developed on UE5 has its pros and cons:
  ~ Pros: Fast development time compare to other engines, large amount of resources, active development team that can help devs working on their game, ...
  ~Cons: Well known for being a stutter mess, hard to optimize and deliver a complete product.

But the engine can become even better in the future, and it has longevity of support. Halo Studio should release the next game with MCC in mind, releasing new games as a DLC format similar to MCC games. Allowing players to download and uninstall games without affecting the whole game in general, Multiplayer is still its own thing instead of new multiplayer mode for each new halo games. This help pros from leaving the game if they dont like the new mechanics or designs in general. Multiplayer gameplay should retain a lot of its core mechanics, and overtime introduce new mechanics along with new games instead of replacing old mechanics entirely. Not only this widen the skill gap between veterans and new players, but it also drives new players to spend even more time to learn these mechanics to keep up with veterans

And i did a lot of thinking last night, how Halo can make the descope feels better for new players. Removing the scope for close range weapons such as the AR, ... For high precision weapons, keep the scope but u get descoped when your shield is down with a bullet damage drop off at certain distance so that it make players cant camp. Keep descope mechanics for sniper based weapons even shield is up

Like they're so poorly made when it comes to optimization. Forgers focus a bit too much on making the maps look ultra flashy and have all sorts of visual fx everywhere and all it does it drag down the performance.

That one Husky Raid map(I can't remember the name) where you're in these underground ruins with waterfalls and a giant circular room with a hole in the middle is probably the WORST offender when it comes to map performance.
