My tier list is more what each game did right or how I felt about them.

Halo CE was great for an introduction and had nice environments.

Halo 2 was good for enhancing the lore and the covenant and the overall universe

Halo 3 had the perfect ending as it reflected the beginning of CE with chief in cryo.

Halo 3 ODST was the most fun and had action everywhere. Personally my favourite.

Halo Reach had a good militaristic atmosphere and had a campaign where you actually lost in the end and showed the real threat of the covenant.

Halo 4 by far has the best graphics especially considering it was a 360 release.

The 360 was really on its last legs and Halo 4 is proof of that. Looking at prototype levels you can really see how levels had to be cut back to compensate for the hardware.

CE had Health packs and of course the movement was more primitive compared to the others.

Halo Reach had fancy power ups such as armour lock.

Halo 4 had sprint.

ODST lacked radar, had more health.
