The order I want to do has you go through mostly the release order and chronological order. You play the og games, go to 4 and then you go back to July 2552 in reach, go to Halo CE Anniversary after reach as the assets are practically identical to reach so it is a smooth transition then you go to halo 2 anniversary.

My personal opinion of each game is basically:

Halo: CE - Great Introduction
Halo 2: Great for expanding the lore and the covenant
Halo 3: Most replayable and has a beautiful ending
Halo 3: ODST - Most fun and action packed.
Halo: Reach - Most Nostalgic and allows you to be you.
Halo 4: Had a good soundtrack but was too different compared to the earlier games, deviated a lot and focused too much on romance and character development.
Halo 5: Yuck
Halo Infinite: Good but should have had the content it has now at launch. Maybe should have used unreal rather than tech debt slipspace engine.

Firefight can be a mixed bag, I always did 2s. But things like floodfight nobody really queued

Trenchbirdtakes a deep breath halo 3 is obviously the best. It has a great storyline and adds loads more lore to halo. The ending is beautiful and the levels are amazing. It amazing graphics(for its time) and the vehicle combat is soooo fun
