thats just how steep the acceleration curve is. linear acceleration is when the curve is a straight line

i.e.

idk 100% this is MCC's acceleration curve but MCC feels like games that have linear acceleration

and to me it just feels wayy more intuitive then whatever curve Infinite has

I think if you play the game religiously you can get use to Infinite's curve and it becomes a non issue

but if i come back to the game i just cant aim at all in infinite for ages with a controller

whereas any time i come back to MCC, the aiming just feels natural

and honestly i just dont get not having the option for the same aiming system in both your titles

i'd guess a lot of mcc players are put off infinite by the weird aiming, even if they dont understand why

I really wish we had better options in Infinite for aim. The aim acceleration never feels right to me no matter what I do. Sometime it feels too slow, other times it feels too fast. I stopped trying to find the sweet spot and just deal with it.

I will also be frustrated when my party decides we're going to switch to SWAT without a heads up because I need to adjust my sensitivity and acceleration up a few bumps up to keep it fast and twitchy feeling when in the past my settings worked for all game modes. Even Halo 5 had a better aim feel to me, which is what I tried to mimic my Infinite settings on

the circle is bigger in 120hz mode since the output resolution it 1440p, which makes me think they just didnt test it at 60hz and dont care since competitive players dont use 60hz

This is correct. Cheating in MCC is a problem, its not MCCs biggest problem 🙂 And most people will likely never encounter them.

Assuming you dont play ranked all day every day you have an EXTREMELY low likelihood to run into one. And in the very slim chance you do, you block them and....never match them again.

Sometimes MCC takes time to register achievements. iirc playing through another mission sometimes triggers a popup for whatever reason.
Maybe it refreshes the leaderboard tags or something.
