What if Halo Studios would undo the progression system and just let you purchase individual armor pieces with the Spartan Points in MCC

Earn points through challenge hub/leveling up and then use them on what ever pieces of armor you want instead of having to go through hours and hours and hours of grinding

Just for maybe a few pieces of armor you really want

Thats just me tho, I dont know how the rest of the community would feel about that

I'd argue that its a bit different as Microsoft is no longer as protective of their IPs/has a very different strategy than Nintendo

Nintendo lives and dies on having their IPs on their platform. Xbox's behavior these past few years has shown that is not really their MO

They want Xbox on everything. And that means getting their games playable wherever they can

Nintendo wants you playing their games only on their hardware, because thats how they make their money. Microsoft? They don't make money on Xbox anyways, why not use the billion dollar brands they own and publish them wherever they can. They want Game Pass subscribers, not Console Sales
