There are 3 rotational slots, 1 definitely rotates every week, the other 2 MAY depending on the schedule.
The social playlist always rotates. Gametypes like Grifball, Fiesta, Escalation Slayer, etc.
Ranked Hardcore (Reach, H2A, H2C) MAY rotate in, its every 2-3-4 weeks.
Ranked Halo 3 Doubles (Radar/Hardcore) MAY rotate in, its every 1-2-3-4-5 weeks.

Not exactly. Reach/H2A/H2C (everything) and H3 Hardcore are dead unless people organize.
H3 TS (4v4) can find games in the 10-30ish range pretty consistently.
Same with H3 Radar/Hardcore doubles. 10-30ish is the sweet spot, especially since most of the streamers/competitive people are all locked at a 23 by the cheaters.
CE Doubles has a really low searching range (once youre a 20 you can search all the way to 50) and its the only list im aware of where people still intentionally play on their 50s pretty much every day.

No, the console version is different. On PC there are two, Steam and MSoft Store
Asked the question bc the MSoft Store version has known issues queuing in matchmaking on MCC. Well, it’s community known, HS hasn’t commented on it anywhere.

So if you’re on that version you need to either have someone not on that version be party leader or go buy the Steam Version. Assuming they are playing social there is no gametype in MCC that couldn’t find a game within a few minutes, let alone 2 hours lol
Maybe if you do only Halo 1 BTB or some other specific limited search it will take a while, but it’s not THAT bad

I always ha halo mcc on steam with family sharing, but we stopped doing that and I recently got gamepass for a month from a new laptop and I got mcc on ms store and ran into many issues that I didn't with steam version .
1st day trying to download game: microsoft server down the whole day and I can't download
2nd issue is that xbox app refuses to install games to my games partition that I use for steam
3rd issue xbox app version wont use usb controllers and only bluetooth unlike the steam version
