It's honestly insane how well made Origins is considering what I've heard about its development

Like yeah it sucks they weren't allowed to give us Aya as the protagonist like they planned but you can tell how obvious it is the devs wanted it to be a work of art regardless

Every single play session, I remarked "I can't believe I'm walking around/climbing on/seeing [ancient historical structure]". It was the greatest virtual time travel tourism ever.

Yasuke is so cool as a character, the idea to have the more combat oriented character and a stealthy character is really cool to me, it seems like they’re taking the best of both worlds from the open world titles and the linear ones. At least, from an outsider perspective that’s what I’m taking from it

Being E Asian, I understood how appealing that concept was to writers, but it was sad that an AC game finally set in my origin part of the world cannot just have E Asians be the full face of the game. They would never have a Japanese main character in Origins, Odyssey, Mirage, Valhalla.

Well one day if it ever strikes your fancy, it's one of those game series that shows how incredible it is that we live in this time: part of each game's development team is an actual historical dept that works with linguists and historians, photographs locations, builds structures to original historical spec, etc. So each game is filled with actual recreated structures, which is mind-blowing to think about.

Oddly enough that was one of the reasons I really wanted a bike. I was tired of not really having anything "to do" if I was behind a slower chill driver I couldn't pass.
My mind would begin to wander off and I'd phase back in to focus kinda freaked out I "forgot" I was driving. Which of course is dangerous.
If I wanted to stay focused on driving I'd have to be on their tail and be aggressive but I'm not wanting to be dangerous.
It's a weird mental thing. I need the slight but still safeish threat of death to pay attention

All 4 limbs controlling the bike, it's like a focusing sweet spot.

practice in empty parkinglots or your neighborhood. Have someone help you by giving you random "stop" commands so you have to react and stop without stalling. Thats a tactic that helped me learn to react better with a manual. Car or bike this training will help. This is general advice not pointed at anyone.

I was recently looking for the "This Spartan Life" Waypoint exclusive videos and that brought to my attention the significant amout of video content that Waypoint had and no longer hosts. While I happen to already have done a ton of work to get the TSL episodes and have them locally I'm wondering if there was ever an archive of all the Waypoint exclusive video content? It feels like a megaton of content is just simply lost/gone because of the removal from the website.
