Technically, you don't need info from any other game for any game (despite what some people claim.) You'll get more out of it, if you've played the other games, read some of the books etc. But the plots are never too complicated to follow if it is your first entry into the series

The closest to an exception is h3 and that is just because the story bit was in h2. Even then a lot of people managed to start there just fine.

You're actually in luck because much of the Halo 5 storyline elements were left unaddressed and Infinite largely went its own way story-wise. So if there's a gap in story development, 5 - Infinite is the one you least have to worry about.

It has been broken since I think July 2023 - it will get stuck in Connecting Session and then loop a few times until it eventually connects.

Yeah personal opinion, this is overpriced by about $30, give or take:

• Tracer packs that contain multiple typical items (weapon blueprints, victory poses, finishing moves, charms/decals/sprays) without a character skin I've seen for avg 1,300 CR ($10-12 depending on how you buy CR).
• Since these four skins are similar just with headband color and holstered weapon render differences, counting them as just 1 skin is a fair way to look at it. Packs containing the above + a character skin are 2,400 CR typicaly (around $20).
• So treating these as 1x character-inclusive pack + 3x non-character tracer packs = appx $50 worth of CR.

Whats up with the rally points in Mombasa Streets? Should I just play the missions normally and do the rally points after?

These are not like rally points in Halo 3

They look like different missions but idk

I finished Mombasa Streets after finding a Helmet in a Monitor which was the first clue and then it was over. I can however start another Rally Point and then I am suddenly somewhere else. So should I do the Rally points one after another first in Mombasa Streets or the other missions first?

you do a mombasa streets mission, then a mission with another character, then back to Mombasa streets.

next time you load the game you should be able to press continue and it'll just work

Basically, Halo 3: ODST is split up. One segment, the player is searching the streets for clues, then you find one and experience a flashback mission, then you go back to the streets mission when you're done. Each Rally Point is a segment between clues.

I think it's easiest when you select a Playlist to keep track of the missions (I think you select Campaign, Playlists, then Normal Difficulty playlist).
