Someone who creates a second account and ensures that it stays at a lower rank so that they can play unfair advantages or just "train" on less skilled players. Massive problem with FTP games with rank play, huge problem in Infinite too since the last time I played roughly three months ago.

Anyone who plays the game honestly is screwed and locked into their initial placement ranking. You can deduce a smurf from a couple tactics where they will intentionally leave a match to keep their CSR low, there are other tricks to it too.

jigglepeaking is a thing where you hide behind cover and pop out from behind it really quickly in sync with your shooting cadence - enabling you to get shots off and stay behind cover optimally so that the only time you are exposed is with a shot being fired... makes it very hard for players not using the same meta to keep up their hits on you. Usually experienced in the higher echelons of the ranked gameplay.

yes exactly. When the ratio of smurfs to honest players crosses a threshold where it occurs consistently in every game you play either with one or against one smurf player, the ranked experience is comepletely broken.
Rn, it looks like smurfs target upper plat to low diamond from my experience.
You can tell they are smurfs from the game count total their profile has being indirectly proportional to their KD/OBJ gemeral game sense. A player with 280 total matchmaking games is not going to know the intricacies of every ranked map and mode combination so easily. This is likely therefore a smurf.

that's a hidden matchmaking ranking issue - it's different.
You do experience some levels of being placed with teammates/opponents that are merged with you to create a "balanced" game. Where that algorithm takes liberties on how it accomplishes this is a point of contention. Especially in Halo Infinite.

Today.... its been a Year that I watched the First episode of the Paramount Halo show... and started everything connected to Halo franchise.
I know people have their opinions about the show, but I just love it... and I always will. No one will ever change my mind... And I don't think words can express how grateful and happy I am that I... decided to watch it and play the games... it changed me... and a lot. I started in a strange way... I alternated between the games and the series and that made me like both time lines more. first the first series.... then halo reach... right after that I started the second series which just released a new episode every Thursday. during that time I had time to finish halo CE where The Food was... right away I was curious if The Flood would appear in the series and... then there was The Fall of Reach episode in the show... banger episode. then after finishing Halo 2 and 3 the show released its final episode. and... it was amazing.
It was a really amazing experience that I want to relive... everything... the joy of playing the games, the admiration of the characters, the excitement of starting another game and episode... Those tearing ups from the music...
It's probably stupid to write a paper about this, but... it really changed my life.

Ive made a black chrome death trooper before with one of the previous SSG HCS coatings and certain armors that dont show much of their bright OJ color secondary. Youll have to tool around with the customization between shoulders and helmets with that coating because they all have different mapping for the color zones.

Shadow Sorel from the campaign lockers, Cinder Ring from the Mark V bundle (Shop), Redacted Records (Which isn't all black but it is still pretty stealthy looking and from the Heroes of Reach BP), Grey Avarice (Also not completely black but kinda goes for the vibes but is via the Exchange so no need to pay for real money)

Honestly, when going for all black, it's kinda hard to find options

At the very least, find all the lockers within the campaign to unlock those coatings

I understand that there is too much money to be made selling individual configurations of colors & textures released over time vs letting people customize their armor coating, so my crazy idea would be to implement the Xbox controller Design Lab system into Halo Infinite (and future games if they're going to keep doing the coatings system): break a core into zones, allow players to customize colors and textures per zone, then assemble the combination into a coating and the player can pay for it.

Now they can grant freedom while still monetizing.
