I personally think Infinite looks better but halo 5 looks incredible, I think the set pieces carry most of the work. Its hard to appreciate Infinite beyond the banished, pacific northwest, and forerunner vibes. You can really see Infinite shine in the more unique maps like Forest and Prism (needler map)

Controversial Opinion here:
Halo 2's Main theme is the absolute worst in the series. Let me Explain
The plot of halo is that Humanity is fighting a Multi-Alien species Cult called the covenant.
but they are VERY BADLY losing and they are nearing the brink of extinction.
Chief while a true badass isn't as badass as someone like Jerome-092 or Noble six
The main theme of Halo 2 is just a Heavy metal guitar riff version of the halo theme.
I admit it's cool, but just like water and oil, it doesn't at all mix with the lore and the Atmosphere of hopelessness or desperation like Halo ODST or Halo Reach did
In Reach the metal soundtracks work because they are building you up as much as possible so they can tear you down to ash in the second half.
Here it makes the chief feel Utterly Unstoppable and the covenant are the ones losing big time
It also doesn't convey the struggles of humanity during 2552 or anything
It's personally why i like Halo ODST, Reach, and Halo 4, because their OST's immediately tell you:
This story won't have a happy ending (I.E. Halo Reach with The covenant completely manhandling reach, and Halo 4 having Cortana Die from rampancy before chief could save her)

Arbiter's OST's are incredibly humble which compliments his character arc across the game.
Some of 117's OST make him feel unstoppable, to the point where for me it feels almost borderline Mary Sue (Or Gary Stu since Chief isn't a woman). when in reality he was a child supersoldier conscripted at 6, indoctrinated into the mindset he has, and underwent a risky and even more invasive augmentation procedure.

Halo 2 literally has like 2 segments in the whole game with Electric Guitar stuff. And one of them is when you're taking down a scarab lol.

I’m not really invested in this line of argumentation but Chief isn’t a Gary Stu.

His abilities are adequately explained, he’s constantly being directed and taking orders from others, gets strung along like in CE, and loses on occasion as well. Getting caught by Gravemind in H2, being unable to save multiple named characters, etc.

The rest is stuff like the Sacred Icon Suite, High Charity suite, etc.

So that the midgame Twist of a GIANT covenant fleet arriving to completely MANHANDLE THE PLANET, is a much better executed punch in the balls
