Hello, I installed the Alpha Ring Splitscreen mod for MCC but sometimes I want to play multiplayer but can't because of the easy anti cheat detecting the splitscreen file. Is there an easier way to switch between modded and unmodded MCC than uninstalling files and reinstalling them when you want to play multiplayer?

That said, I mispoke, Emile's the worst depiction of a Spartan in the franchise.

CvL is just top 10 worst.

The outcome and 'mood' make sense, it's the actual choreography that's bad.

But nobody wants to watch two heavily armored dudes just wrestle it out for 10 minutes because of the actual fight that would've made sense for the scene.

The only noteworthy redeeming part is the Didact icing 4 IIs, which is something 100% he should be capable of doing.

I'd honestly love to pick Reed's brain. Partially to see if what I read into his writing is correct, but also because I want to know what got him canned in favor of Infinite's ridiculously played-safe-to-a-bad-degree narrative.

5's got a lot of very ambitious writing that goes unnoticed because people overlook the very, very explaining minutiae in favor of complaining about coarse and blunt details that are explained by the minutiae.

The 'broad strokes' of 5 are that Cortana is back and the didact is dead; Chief is wrong and Locke is hunting an AWOL Spartan; Et cetera.

The minutiae of 5 is that Cortana's not even back because she expected to be, she was just lucky; Cortana is against the UNSC because she's like Halsey, and there are a ton of understated details that explain how; Chief is wrong because he is an idealist, but also because he is not willing to go as far as Cortana is; And Locke is more understanding of both sides of the situation than anyone, even his own command, expects.

There are a lot of small details that explain the broad stroke issues, and why they happen, but they get overlooked for one reason or another.

For example; Tanaka's hated for her speech (Which isn't bad as far as impromptu speeches, IMO), but it belies a deeper understanding of her character through smaller details piecemealed through the campaign; She's a survivor who insulates herself from everything because of what she had to do, she's lost in a past she didn't get a choice in, even her smartest squadmates are infuriatingly naive by her standards, and it takes a lot to break apart the ice on her mind.
