Also If your talking about the melee thrust that melee makes you do. It's a difference but it didn't affect too much gameplay beside making melee easier to hit

I liked how it was going up, grunts are weakest, then jackals, brutes, hunters.. now we need a new species that are a bit stronger than hunters. (and no scarabs dont count)

People say they're 'worse than the flood' because they survived the rings firing, and that means they'd make the flood worse by giving the flood that immunity
But that's not really how flood immunities work, the flood is intrinsically unkillable by the ring effect anyways on an existence level, and we don't even know how the Endless survived their destruction by the rings in the first place.

Then near the End of the game Before the mission SubLevel Buck tells Micky to turn the Phantom around because he "Lost Something" again referring to Dare in the Sublevels
