there's not some crazy logic to it, it's not looking at ur past history and manipulating ur brain for engagement. its just doing what it can to make balanced games and avoid snowballing which is the biggest reason people quit matches

and you aint gotta be a rocket sciencetist to know snowballing results in higher rates of qutting

You can make sure to lock your framerates to the same setting, which will help a little.

The games run on Lockstep netcode so the experience is going to be sup-par regardless. Gets worse with distance and difference in performance.

This report is for the halo master chief collection but the ranking system is hard to rank up in the level one ranks thats what i was told by a friend that was level one its hard to find matches i am helping him rank up and it half to be someone with a higher rank to find matches when you are level one its hard to rank up on the halo master chief collection the ranking system was balanced before people could rank up better 343 changed it to make it harder to rank up i had 50s every time when the ranking system was balanced there is a lot players that play social that cant even rank up i find matches instantly when i play ranked h3 team slayer i am always matching the same players its crazy the population is low and if you are the higher rank you always get the lower rank players its impossible to achieve a higher rank when you do you are just going go back down i have friends that were 30s and they go right back down to like a 25

i think the MMR is a lot more flexible in mming for quickplay, but ranked puts you as close to ur skill level as possible
