• XB1 controllers have been more robust for me vs Series controllers.

It depends.

AMD pack a bigger punch for your buck, and Nvidia has proprietary technologies such as RTX that makes games look beautiful*, or DLSS 3 that makes frames quicker in less time. If you're interested in the Nvidia features or just causing "Envy(dia)", then go for an Nvidia, but if you don't care, then it's safe to go for an AMD.

Plus AMD has sun ray tracing with Halo Infinite so there's that.

NVIDIA also owns CUDA which is used to train AI, so if you're not gunning to use Tensorflow to make your own AI then you can give that up too, though AMD has been catching up with their own versions of the tech.

mm my understanding is that they are shooting for horror, so likely jump scare moments, dim lights, etc
and being a marine and not a spartan, you're going to be more vulnerable. similar to ODST where you can't just go gun blazing
