Would never happen, but it would be neat if they would literally crowdfund items. Estimate how much it would cost them to put out some core's customization pieces, publish that number, see if people donate enough, and if they hit the goal then everyone who donated above a certain amount would get the items.

At least it would be a little more precise to affect people who want it. But maybe I'm just suffering from Monday Morning Fatigue.

Thought about - this planet is some kind of criminal planet. Due to Halopedia and Halo Wiki. An local Gov. and also well known offical Arms Dealer - died due to an "incident". His private pelican took of and shortly after it got seemingly an mechanical error and crashed into a private Hangar (working on that). Due to the fact that the Hangar is private property - local authorities couldn't get to the pelican in time. The hangar is owned by a local crime syndicate, which was interessted to keep their illegal stuff safe from authorities. So they kept the authorities busy until they made some space...

Why the ONI getting active? The Gov was an highly trustworthy informant for section 0. So they are interessted to find out, if it really was an incident or someone manipulated the pelican. Or mb something else happend...

I truly don't think I'm going to get past the library
