Thats part of the beauty is you dont know what your getting. It wasnt an issue in halo 3 days - everyone had awful default headset and it still popped off. I think have the ability to lobby up again / veto and all that created more situations for engagement which currently its sorely missing. I love playing infinite and think its great but it fallls short is so many little ways its frustrating as a fan.

its about the spirit of competition and creating wild moments. I do play with 4-12 other friends in private lobbies but sometimes when its us in 4v4 or 8v8 online you want that engagement and chance to smack talk the other team into rechallenging in the next round. Especially if the game was close (when the sandbox is at its best)

This roll the dice thing. Lets say you get a horrible person on the other end or poor mic quality. You only have to deal with it for a very small amount in either prox when they kill you or post lobby. Then you can choose not to lobby again or easily scoreboard mute them. i see little downside

you dont make Halo into two different games to achieve that

anybody have trouble with weird shot cadence and misfires on controller? had it some on CE but it's been really bad in 3, especially on the carbine. weird thing is that if you run it dry, the dry fire clicks have perfect cadence. so it's getting the inputs but not resetting shots properly or something.

Some of the campaign missions were fun, forerunner weapons and their initial animations were really cool, Dominion was a great mode, the ARG tie-in before and after it's release was awesome! Hunting glyph codes in Spartan Ops. Spops was hilarious with friends (just not randoms)
