-It's mostly seems like a way to get pre-existing items that were weekly/event rewards(so if you already have those, there's not really a point).
-The prices of certain Exchange items would take like a month of grinding to get.
-And it will take a month to get new stuff added to it, and who knows how much content actually DOES get added with each update.

They have proper support from non-elite units as well. ODSTs clear the front zone, provide support and spearhead operations, and silence enemy defenses so infantry and armor can land.

One issue I have is how being open world affects how you tackle encounters, and the way AI responds to you as a result.
Marines can no longer drive vehicles, for example. Enemy land vehicles are sparse and don't deviate from their limited areas.
