I enjoyed the open world aspect. Added more stuff to do than the traditional 8 hour campaign and gave me some replay value by letting me pick my weapons and pick a different approach to playing compared to loading up the same mission over and over again.

Eh. It's all one big biome, but each region of the map is pretty different enough. You have mountains, woodlands, swamps, scarred battlegrounds, etc. It's really only samey at a surface level.

Believe me the whole earn credits system doesn’t exist because they’re added to Season Passes but we don’t do that anymore in Halo, but for COD and the others all of them total just add up for the next Season Pass. This is what big companies should do: watch Helldivers II and study the integrated system on how to gain player retention and soft/hard credit system. Either way, there’s always gonna be people today in Infinite that big the big bundles from the shop.
