Of his most major objectives in the game he is tasked with alone, he consistently fails or only at most has partial success.

• He is told to hold the exit and ensure nothing gets past him. The most important elite of the group who were at the relay manages to swiftly get by him within minutes of being exposed.

• He is told to hold the breach of Sword Base. He proceeds to not only fail to begin to stem the tide breaching through that entrance, but is portrayed as so incompetent at his job that he is incapable of even stymying a single Phantom that drops off special forces directly next to his position.

• He tells Six to hold the ground while he holds the gun at the Autumn. He consistently fails to shoot down Phantoms that disgorge full troop compliments, endangering Noble Six, his own nature culminating in getting backstabbed by an elite due to grandstanding at the finish line.

• Emile's own vanity not only ensures that he consistently violates UNSC protocol (He regularly salvages Covenant equipment purely for the use of decoration) and destroys protective equipment explicitly meant to protect his own abilities (The flash-blind coating of his visor, which means plasma scoring would dramatically affect his vision).

• Emile's own attitude holds him back in Noble's role, with his own sheer arrogance and aggression disrupting squad cohesion (Almost killing civilians due to suspicion, rankling Jorge and others via callous and disruptive snarking and behavior)-this arrogance ultimately resulting in his messy death at the hands of an Elite zealot.

His most impressive moment is literally by accident-stunning a Banshee that inexplicably, without power, rams another.

Honestly, it's hilarious people even dared to call IVs unprofessional when Emile existed.

Tbh it doesn't matter what it looks like exactly. I'd recommend having a snoop on ifixit or more DIY oriented websites. You can either get a replacement, try to fix it yourself, or just a buy a new one.

Ok just making sure. So PowerA is a major third-party brand and has a lot of good products. But unfortunately, many of their items have short durability. This model seems like problems with the sticks develop just a few months into ownership. So it may be just the quality of the controller.
