not really. The anti-monitor was created for the 80's crisis on infinite earth's crossover as basically an 'evil god' type that was bent on destroying all of creation. Thanos was created in the 70s, but didn't really get the 'I'm in love with Death' motivation or become a true cosmic level threat till the early 90s. The two don't really have much to do with earch other.
I've seen a lot of comparisons of Thanos to Darkseid, but that's not really accurate either.

I actually hate that description because that's literally what Jul was supposed to be, and nearly the opposite of what Jega is.

As in, it's literally what they were calling him in 4's development, where he was supposed to have main campaign relevancy

Jega is basically a combination of a lot of Jul's concept art traits, played up for edge reasons, and then shunted into a role that isn't nearly comparible to Arbiter due to his whole 'consumed by hatred of Spartans and loyalist sycophant' deal.

Jega's not a ruler of armies or people, he's a rabid dog with enough neurons to help his master shuffle a pawn or two.

In which case, Jul fits the bill-he's a charismatic con man of a leader who leads his troops through duplicitious acts rather than a genuine motivation and drive to improve his people.

Whereas Arbiter is charismatic, but also very genuine in his intent and genuinely wants to make his people better, even learning from humanity to do so.

I use it anytime I need to compress a vid. Main uses have been for sending in reports to waypoint. SO much easier than loading up an app or PC and going through the shrink process. Just make sure to double check it because there is some quality loss whenever you compress a video. Most of the time it's not noticeable but every now and then it gets a little funky
