my biggest gripe with them is picking up power weapons. breaks matches where each team has power weapons that tip the balance of the game quite easily
some check whether there's a non-bot team mate within a certain distance before picking up a power weapon would be nice

It'll like, do a screen wipe thing every so often, because mobile stuff or whatever, yet it looks as if I'm playing on current Gen through the app. Like, my phone doesn't overheat, there's literally no frickin' lag in 4v4 or firefight. Honestly, it runs so good in my opinion, just play it on mobile if you can't afford the current Xbox like me.

Even though Reach is a prequel to Combat Evolved, it is especially relevant right now with the Halo TV show happening, and as you're playing for the campaign, it's one of the most enjoyable ones of the bunch. Hope you have a blast playing through the saga!

Play the games in order of release. As far as first person shooters play in this order.

Halo Combat Evolved (the first two games have ten year anniversary remaster graphics you can change to, though I would recommend original graphics for a first play through but if you want to go back and do it again with anniversary graphics later or toggle between them as you play that can be cool too.)

Halo 2 (classic graphics have some audio issues that never got fixed on MCC but I’d still recommend it for first play through. Definitely play again with the remaster though. Unlike Combat Evolved the remaster for Halo 2 is great, particularly the cutscenes)

Halo 3 ODST (this takes place mostly during the events of Halo 2)

Halo Reach (this takes place chronologically before Halo Combat Evolved)

Halo Infinite (not on MCC. You should at least watch a cutscene from Halo Wars 2 explaining who Atriox and the Banished are before playing this. You can just do that on YouTube.)
If you want to play Halo Wars and Halo Wars 2 you can but they are not first person shooters. They are real time strategy games. Halo Wars was released in between Halo 3 and Halo 3 ODST and takes place earlier than all the other games chronologically. Halo Wars 2 was released between Halo 5 and Halo Infinite and has the same chronological spot I believe. You can also just watch the cutscenes on YouTube. But like I said, there’s only really one cutscene from Halo Wars 2 that is really needed to understand Halo Infinite.
