100% agreed. They built the Mass Effect (and Dragon Age) world so thoughtfully and completely. It's more than a universe of lore, it's a universe of science fiction at large: containing multiple major themes of science fiction that different scifi works/series focus on, and then interweaves them all. IIRC/AFAIK, unlike ODSTs, Spartans don't seem to have the ability to depolarize their visors outside of combat, at least not with the helmets that the POV Spartans ever use (Between Majestic, Osiris, Blue Team, etc). Exactly why they can't isn't elaborated upon, but the helmets are different on a fundamental level from the normal helmets you see on, say, ODSTs.

The storm rifle was very powerful. Blissful Slumber was also like a mini answer.

The storm rifle and the pulse carbine are not the same weapon... and do not serve the same function. One is a close ranger devastator the other is a medium range shield destroyer

I actually find it really cringe the people who say reaches firefight was better, infinites there is an actual objective. Odst's and reaches firefight never interested me, they were always very boring but having the hill in infinite made it a lot of fun becasue the enemies would bunch up then you can kill tons of them.

Yeah no I get that, that whenever I have no friends on at the time and I play by myself I get very unlucky with randoms and having terrible teammates meanwhile the other team are at least decent players, or in a really bad case a bunch of ranked players all squadded up

It's very hard to get kills or do well when you just get 2v1'd 3v1'd ect and your team just wonders around the map completely oblivious to whats going on
