But I always felt like the 'weaker' part (Which refers to defensive properties-martially, it's about the same) was a bit of a hack explanation. GEN2's an incredibly varied platform with significant advancements in various regards-it's unthinkable to believe that all of its highly varied configurations are weaker.

The allegedly is twofold; It's a gross generalization, and Halo Encylopedias are generally near the lowest rung of 'canon safety' in terms of how things are described and portrayed.
