Aformentioned issue of distribution. Halo's more popular in the US than the EU, so it just causes longer production and delivery times, which Spartan Games was apparently more on the hook for or could not compensate for adequately enough to gain a foothold.

While wargames are somewhat more popular in the EU than the US, that wouldn't be enough to make Halo more popular over there alone, being a licensed product.

Their products in general were interesting, and did somewhat match the original 'balancing' goal (Being primarily naval simulator wargames, and the Halo products they produced were primarily Halo's Navy stuff), but in terms of overall choice, it comes across more as them being chosen due to their name than any other significant factors.

Their normal products sold poorly in the first place, after all.

Of course, it's not like I can see the whole picture, I'm just an uncultured rube looking at it from the ground when it comes to that. It just seems like Catalyst or something might have been a better choice, being a more stable and competent company overall with ties to existing microsoft IPs at least tangentially.

The best tip on any halo game, is to always carry 1 normal weapon and 1 power weapon or 2 normal weapons. But never 2 power weapons. And only use the power weapons against Elites, Brutes, Hunters, Knights and Soldiers, never against the weak enemies, because you would be wasting ammo

So Halo MCC needs to finish up adding COOP Cross platform support for Halo CE, 2, Reach and 4 and spartan ops. As Halo CE and Halo 2 originally launch as both PC and Xbox games back in 2001-2004 and had access to campaign and multiplayer on there own ends. So adding COOP Cross Platform shouldn't take really long to implement the cross platform coop support due to the fact of when both those games originally came out in the early 2000s. Halo reach needs the cross coop platform support as we have cross platform support but only towards halo reach firefight mod. As also in multiplayer and firefight of reach it is using lot of the sttuff from campaign side of reach, so it shouldn't take long to implement the cross coop platform support for halo reach coop campaign. And halo 4 need the cross platform coop support for halo 4 and spartan ops mode. As there stuff in multiplayer that from campaign and spartan ops using some stuff from multiplayer side in it mode as well of campaign maps. But yea this need to be added in to make halo MCC at the best peak halo game so no one really need to be on the same platform just to play certain stuff with friends.

If this need to be tesed please I don't mind testing the hgeck out of this. As that the point of the halo insider program otherwise it basically a dead test program mainly not being used then. As we need these features in mcc. As Halo infinite and halo mcc of 3 and odst that only has cross platform coop support. As the only way players can play with there xbox friends on pc only for campaign literally has to us the xbox app cloud gaming and needs a controller for to play it as well. And if vice versa the xbox user need to own a pc and buy the game off steam then just to play with pc friends on campasign that isn't cross coop platform supported.

you can't be completely offline, you have to be connected to Xbox Live somehow even on Halo 5. If you aren't connected to XLIVE on Halo 5, you can't even access the custom games, forge, multiplayer, or any of those menus. Not even co-op, only solo campaign and that's it.

With Halo Infinite I don't even think you can boot the game up without an internet connection, even if you have the disc.
