Ok so it only works with ammo based weapons because it requires reloading, so no plasma.
Basically what you need to do is shoot with the current weapon you want to be infinite, then press the reload button twice quickly and immediately swap it for any other weapon on the ground.
The gun will reload on the ground and it's not gonna lose any ammo
So yeah you'd have to repeat the procedure every time you empty a clip, but you conserve the ammo

I mean its not like they were made to operate in Firefight...heck, Ive not seen a game where theres backfill if someone leaves. Ive had a couple where its just me and another dude doing all the work.

Im more curious as to the overall balance...best way to get points is to literally do the objective.
Its kinda neat, I saw some grinders trying desperatly to make the game last longer but nothing they did worked. You get about 5k, thats it. Nothing to extend, nothing to stretch.
Its nicely balanced in that way at least.

hot take, but this game still feels terrible to play even with all the updates. there is zero consistency in this game, match balancing, spawns, hit registration. It always feels like some random issue pops up when I'm playing and just ruins and otherwise fun experience. I can't just sit down and enjoy myself for 30 mins while playing, there's always an issue that pops up

Yeah Halo Infinite has one of the fairest battlepass/event systems I've ever seen. It's genuinely the one thing Halo Infinite now does so well that it's absolutely beyond criticism. Zero FOMO, a chance to do each pass for free, and the modern passes being extremely good content wise, makes it a zero-sum issue.

@mighty turtle As a big Resident Evil fan, I would highly advise the latter two. Resident Evil 4 is the game of the year in my opinion. And I thoroughly enjoyed Jedi Survivor,too. It now runs without performance problems😅 over 8 months later 😮‍💨

BG would take longer to complete than both RE and JS. So it really depends on whether you want to play the same game for +100 hours alongside DND style combat mechanics or play shorter games with more linear storytelling and typical shooter/action gameplay mechanics.
