main population centrepoint, quicker games and much lower ping. Where I live the internet is terrible at the same time, like seriously good internet here is like 50 mb/s, and i think the highest public ones go to around 100 mb/s, meanwhile my friend in the US gets almost a 1gb download speeds and he lives in an apartment with his dad in not even that high end of a city

even his old internet was much better at 500 mb/s

Yeah we're used to the usual occasional crash to desktop/dashboard that happens but this is different.

When the game gets to round 3 or 4 we're all booted and have to start a new matchmake. We made a custom firefight mode in forge and had the same issue where if enough AI spawned it'd crash everyone to the menu so it's probably doing that.

We haven't been able to finish a single game yet so will probably have to check back in a few months.

Thanks I've submitted a ticket, there wasn't a firefight section so I just listed it as king of the hill.

It's definitely an issue relating to the way AI is spawned. The client we have doesn't seem to be able handle many AI enemies being spawned. We had a 100% performance loss followed by instance/server crashes in our forge made version of firefight during extended games, so got around it by forcing a game to end in under 10 minutes. Anything longer causes major memory issues and results in fps lag and the game instance dying.

The official firefight matches being 15+ minutes on average seems to be causing the issue we isolated when forging, and there's no workaround.

It had a more dirty aesthetic, tried to be a bit more serious than its sequel, and the atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal in my opinion. Every aspect of a Titan's loadout could be customised from a pool of options shared between the three chassis, and it even had features like Titan AI voice customisation. Oh, and the rodeo feature in TF1 didn't involve yoinking a battery; you would instead tear a hatch off of the hull and start shooting into the Titan's internal systems to chip away at its health.

I could keep listing the minor differences between the games but I think I'd end up being here all night

First, how central horse-riding was to it. There was a wedding game where the groom chased the bride on horseback to try and grab the reins. Then it flipped and the bride chased the groom on horseback to try to strike him with a riding whip/crop 3x. She won, so apparently she was going to be the alpha in the marriage.

Then each big family set up a yurt with a full wedding dinner inside. The bride & groom traveled tent to tent thanking and socializing, then chose one to eat at. The rest of the guests ate at the rest of the yurts.
