What other possible options do we have to add in the game, that will make a healthy addition to it and make it more fun ?
I don't see many contenders other than grav lift.

New flank routs and interesting ways to interact with map geometry, you can setup a path for you and your team of friends, get vehicles in unusual places( you can do it with repulsor in a way, but its a lot more tedious) or setting up a vehicle trap, goofy custom games experiments, etc.

And, what prevents 343 from making something new with it, like making it account for you momentum, so if you are entering a gravlift during a sick slide it will give you more height, maybe even at a respective angle making a bootleg man cannon, or go the easiest rout and make it a repulsor pad that has greater push force and will affect all the players in the lobby (you can even make it blast things not in intervals of time, but whenever they enter its trigger radius)

• Also it will cause a massive shake up for competetive scene in how teams(not a single player, but actually groups of people) can rout their rollouts and overall traversal of the map.
