Not really. You can always just import games between internal ssd and external hdd and it doesn’t take long. Definitely better option if you don’t have very fast internet connection

honestly i recommend an cheap external SSD for Xbox One games at this point. I don't have any games on my One X's hard drive anymore because they load a fair bit faster off an external SSD and I had a spare one

afaik the reason they're so expensively priced is literally just because of the CFexpress standard they went with for some odd reason
it's mainly just meant to be a thing used in cameras (the many storage formats that exist for cameras is wild & CFexpress is trying to standardize it)
so I have no idea why MS opted for it with the Xbox game consoles

i recommend the One X if you can get a decent price for it. You miss out on FPS boost but otherwise its a great way to play the past two generations of games, especially titles like RDR which aren't on PC
