Frankly, even a II wouldn't have survived a full-contact blast to a BDU breastplate.

It's a terrible metric to go off of-Spartans don't actually have much in the way of dermal hardening related augmentations, just skeletal and muscular.

They heal fast, and likely have slightly thicker than average skin overall, but their actual skin isn't seemingly any more durable per layer than the average human's.

actually, it is worse then it was. The matchmaking is so immensly bad and biased. The forced losses almost every match are just insane. Last 20 matches, 19 losses and just 1 win. And it's also not like i was doing bad, since my average k/d in those matches was around 1.9. The matchmaking just makes it extremely infuriating. I rather go back to the season 2 when we had little content, but at least the matchmaking was functioning.

there's basically 3 components to how your CSR changes:

• did you win or lose
• your match performance
• how your CSR currently compares to your hidden ranked MMR which is the most accurate measure of your skill in ranked

The last is what throws people off. If you have a W/L and/or K/D above 1 consistently you pretty much always gain CSR and rank up

The hard truth is your MMR is probably accurate

it kind of forces the rank it thinks you belong in. You will get -10 on loses if it thinks your CSR is too high and +10 on wins if its lower than your hidden.

if you are consistently beating higher rank players then your MMR will increase and your CSR will increase

you dont just gain a ton of CSR because a higher rank player has an off game

most high ranks are boosted anyway. They queue with low ranks for easier games and get a ton of kills so even the KD they get is inflated

a 1 in 5 chance of winning is still far better then a decent portion of matches in MCC where one team has probably a 98% chance of winning (there being a 1 in 50 chance multiple players on said team crash or have to leave due to unforeseen circumstances)

During peak time I queued Infinite Social Team Doubles for 10 minutes the other day with another Diamond player and we just did not find anyone. Is nobody else in Europe queuing Doubles? Of course not. It just couldnt find comparably skilled players. MCC would just throw you against 2 random players
