Back when halo 2 first released some scene group modded the main menu file to make a debug level selectable. They didn't release it, so I modded it to do the same thing and released it. I couldn't find any mention of this level anywhere online
It was a flat gray shaded level with every vehicle and weapon just sitting there for testing in a small map. Possibly enemies, but it's been too long for me to remember. You could host a custom match and have people with unmodified consoles/discs join and it would load
of course, my own xbox doesn't have the mod applied and it's been like 18 years so I don't remember much about it and couldn't find anything online mentioning me doing it, despite using the same handle for all this time.
I don't know where else to ask about this. I assume modders have picked apart the game and should know about it. It's frustrating that I can't find a single screenshot or mention on this. This isn't even the only debug level I've found on a game either

I do enjoy the Flood more than the Banished/AI: it felt more distinct as a third force vs how Prometheans (parents) and Banished (estranged sibling) were portrayed, but that's just my affinity for the Terran/Protoss/Zerg trifecta.

It's so tragic when they start to show signs of age.
But Xbox controllers have been swappable guts-wise if you can pry off the shell. I did hear that Series controllers are harder to shuck the shell, but still doable.
