not saying paying for armor is the reason why its so bad, but the fact that they try to get the whole Fear of Missing Out situation on the player is already a major flaw on it's own, not to mention most of the armor is forced in some sort of bundle

could've taken Halo Reach's customization system where everything is individually purchased (and available 24/7) but still have ways to still get a lot of the items by just playing the game for long periods of time so it'd basically be impossible to speed run every item and not pay a dime but at least give power to the players to maybe get 2 or 3 items at most a season depending on how much they grind

But hopefully the next game actually allows u to work for cosmetics instead of spending money out of pocket. Overall map design is mid and the armor is too wonky looking. It’s a good game at best rn unfortunately. But the improvements are showing more then the flaws. I just wish the guns where actually good again. The magnum and og shotgun should’ve never went anywhere and the dmr without a scope was the most pointless update possible. The human guns feel weak outside of the br and sniper imo. H5 did do good though. Multiplayer was solid, campaign gameplay was fun, HCS pulled numbers and Forge was on another level

As someone who just finished all Halo games only recently, Halo 5 was good. I put it with Halo 3 and CE, but below the rest of the series.

Halo 2 still reigns supreme for me 💪

The movement system was also fun in 5, and I liked the new melee attacks in combat like the dash attack/ground pound.

Idk that game was cool, but the negatives overweighted the positives like forge and custom games. But in the end all I remember about that game is having to spend money to get anything I want or to have to by xp req packs just to get this or that. Too much micro transactions, gotta get lucky for some helmets, gotta spend 30 beans for other. The customization was ruined and minimized down to practically 4 pieces totals outside of the visor. It was rough and made me as a halo player lose hope for the future of halo. But infinite gives me hope again.
