I personally think regular BtB just needs more vehicles. Heavies is too crazy. Bandit starts is better but in heavies the BR gives players outside of vehicles more of a chance due to just how many vehicles there is. Basically I would rather heavies not exist and they just find a better vehicle balance

Partly balancing reasons I believe
Since people could butterfly-click on with the Sidekick, and go on big sprees in a BTB setting, so the Bandit is a slower fire-rate
And also yes, it was a community request when the bandit came out

I think Locke was cool. He was someone other than Chief to play as and he was very representative of the Spartan 4s. I don't really like how we play as him 2/3rd of the game though. Do half and half like Halo 2 was

This is true, but it can become something almost unmatched by anything else in the right hands
It basically dominates a Ranked setting, having a much faster ROF than the BR, it can even dominate against other Sidekicks if you can click fast enough
And I'm saying most of this from personal experience of either being killed a lot by it, or getting tons and tons of kills with it
