That is one thing I appreciate about Microsoft as a company in the videogame market. With the Xbox Live Arcade and the Series X/S having backwards compatibility all the way back to the first Xbox, it shows Xbox as a console made with more care about game preservation than the competition. Seeing as the PS5 has backwards compatibility with the PS4 but not any of the 3 prior ones, and Nintendo slowly catching up with their retro games on the Switch
