I just played Halo 4 on normal for a bit to get a feel for which elites are the strongest. Didn’t test rangers yet. The storm and commanders died after two melees so you’re definitely right about the commanders. The warrior and zealot died after 3 melees. But I think the zealot seems way more aggressive. Even without the sword it was very hard to even test the meeleing on it because it would one shot melee me back immediately or before I could even get the first in. So I’m not 100% sure about who has stronger shields/health but the warrior and zealot are in the same range and the zealot does seem like it’s aggression and the fact it often has camo might give it the edge.

Well, a lot of different weapons have different properties. Human weapons are pretty straight forward, you shoot and do damage. Electric weapons can EMP vehicles temporarily if you shoot them. And there's a lot of other weapons with their own characteristics, which I recommend looking up a review video on youtube for. I hope you enjoy tho homie

Best advice I got is to use the tank gun. I know it's not the most encouraging thing to say but you probably missed the best time to do Laso. A strat that would allow you to skip 3/4 of the game was patched out a while ago. Now you have to beat every main mission.
