Basically, Chimera is the name for the suits worn by Infolife (Created) Executors. Executors are essentially heavily cyberized Spartan equivalents, hypothetically equal to or superior to your average Spartan, but we don't know outside of noncanon simulations.

Chimera is less a suit than directly grafted to the Executor in question, and their AI controllers (Proxies) are significantly more able than a normal Spartan's AI, capable of taking over the Executor's body entirely-or even having both sidetracked and directly controlled by an Infolife Created, remotely, depending on the configuration.
