I played just the openning of Halo 2 last night and I really enjoyed the cut sceens. I'm still just defending the earth base but the dual guns is kind of nice. I don't like that you throw the second gun if you try to punch someone.

The best use is a plasma weapon, like the Plasma Rifle, paired with a ballistic weapon, like the SMG, you can strip shields with the former and finish them off with the latter

Hey, so I had to join the Discord to tell someone about this and I didn't know where to go, but I have been having insane ping and network connection problems on MCC; and just now I was in the lobby waiting for a match to load, when all of the sudden (after like 5 minutes of loading) it said I was kicked, and I got a timeout penalty. Double click, and install it as if it were another program

You can choose to reinstall GeForce Experience if you wish, but if not, just install the driver

The process is pretty self-explanatory once you open the .exe.

Nope, you can either use GeForce Experience or download it manually like you just did.

Driver updates honestly do very little if you're not playing a brand new game that just came out like Xdefiant. I haven't updated mine in months and my games run just the same.

yeah i had to change my nvidia driver to a diff version, just went with the 555.85 ver since it's a recommended one. On my prior driver ver, my game was launching fine and would run but weird graphical errors would occur like objects becomming blindingly white and bright. And I would crash pretty often. I still crashed today but lol no graphic errors yet

bought a refurb pc station and scrapped the build and built all over again. this time I went micro atx, 11th Gen i9-11900k @ 3.50GHz, ddr4 memory (32G), and a decent power supply to support 2 monitors and games. Boy am I glad I did it. Graphics card - RTX 3060 12g VRAM. Until ddr4 becomes obsolete I am fine. By the way 1080p is not obsolete yet. Absolutely no overclocking!

The reason I mentioned the above is because so many people are having issues with running the game properly

Seeing the cut CE missions gave me an idea

It’d be cool if there was different ways to get to the same goal in the CE Remake, making it possible to do parts of this alternate story.

Like an optional mission to go kill the prophet, making the covies more aggressive though out the campaign, and making it so the Jungle on Guilty Spark could be glassed if they are more aggressive.

I also like the idea of have a “golden path/ yellow brick road” to go through the game in the cannon way, but you can make your own personal choices to the events on the ring since the people you can kill end up dead at the end of the story anyways.

Ranked gives a set list of comboed maps and modes, like it used to be done with all lists
The only time the maps change in Ranked is when a new map that's ledgible for comp gets added, and that, along with the modes that can play on it, are added to the list
Wait times will always vary, no matter what you play, Ranked is usually the highest wait times, since not a lot of ppl are actually into comp

if you look at the lists with the match composer, its layed out very different to how the Ranked lists still look

If you’ve paid attention of the multiple season and operations, you would’ve noticed that they’ve both added and removed plenty of maps and modes. A handful of the game modes on the maps that people enjoyed were removed with the addition of the new seasons/maps/modes. I’m saying Ranked Overall could be a lot better if they stopped toying around with ‘new’ game modes and maps and stuck with what has worked and what works now.

What I’m saying is that with the addition of the three new Ranked Game modes, being Ranked Doubles, Ranked Slayer, and Ranked Tactical. Because those three modes have been added with Ranked Arena already in place, wait times overall, have increased across the board because now the player base is spread out rather than in one queue.

Furthermore, the wait times vary no matter what depending on the time of day you’re playing.

It’s mainly personal preference tbh. Centered is pretty universally agreed to be easier to snipe on, but really since all of the offsets can be adjusted it’s a bit eh.

If you go into a custom game and toggle you’ll see how the camera lowers and you feel a bit squatty. Switched from centered to lowered a few years ago and it feels way better to me, but ymmv. (Also, I’m referring to H3 here - rest have always been centered default iirc)

I'm gonna be honest, Halo 3's gameplay isn't the best, in part due to the weapon sandbox being kinda lackluster with some exceptions, but also because of how most the equipment isn't all that game changing. Like sure there's the bubble shield, which is fun, but then you have the mine which kinda just sits there and is super obvious. Better used as an extra grenade

If you had Halo 2's Midship in Halo 5, it'd feel horrible to play, which is why Truth was a bigger map, it was more accommodating of the newer mechanics. You're right, Steam doesn't show that I play Halo Infinite.

According to Steam I only installed it once, never bought the campaign, and only played it for a few hours last year.

So I absolutely believe you when you say that it shows the Steam player count.

As far as i can remember, there is The Pit, Empyrean and the two Samurai-themed remakes of the pit and honestly the samurai themed ones were fun for the Tenrai events, but there are just too many pit remakes now

But how they handled John's character was perfect. Making him as much of a moral support as he is a military support just scratches my brain in the right way.
It feels like a reasonable conclusion from the lessons he's learned since Mendez all the way through to losing Cortana, without being a drastic change - it expands on little snippets of that behavior seen in the Bungie days and unvoiced thoughts from the books.

Memory Agent, of all things, sealed that deal for me, and I'm all for it.

the pit remake in community is a community made remake they tossed into halo 3 refuelled. Empyrean is the 343 remake. They're both in ranked and social playlists

i dont think there's a reason other then 343 recognising the work of a forger and considering that version to be worth putting into the refuelled playlists
