I think that the primary reason you don't see much eaglestrike is because the game wasn't very popular when the events with eaglestrike stuff were running so people have almost nothing for it

Perhaps, but honestly when I saw how the core system worked early on, I kinda a few cores were going to be spread thinner on content.

Most BP are focused on one or two cores, and the storefront is rather small in terms content .

Honestly I like the fortnight storefront it's extremely large so store rotations still offers plethora of selection. With the current Halo one you only get like 5 slots for bundles

But they really do need to find a way to equally distribute customizations for each core.

I Get what your saying. I'm trying to kinda explain the benefit to cross core if all cores begin to get The equal amount of cosmetics. Like instead of them showing two cores or more much more attention, they equally distribute that on all cores for those who want to stick with one core, which in turn generates more options for cross core. Was there some kind of change to the SBMM? I have been on a losing streak like never before and been getting stomped into the dirt. Only won 6 of my last 25 games and the ones I've won have been really close. I can still do alright most games but my team will all be like .5kds or worse. Like it feels like Bathesda designed Starfeild to be sort of a blank canvas for Modders to just have fun with

But Bathesda is known for it's modding community, so I'm not surprised if they internally designed the game for that. Todd Howard did say it's going to be a Modders paradise

The PC players are already using some mods, like a Thomas the train Starship mod

Do not discouraged by a lack of early issues trying the medium. MnKB has several disadvantages in aim but has better advantages for snap shooting with weapons that already have low magnetism on controller.

Get a mouse with an ergonomic side button and get a larger mousepad for larger movements.

You'll require adjusting (As in, literal point-by-point settings tweaks) to using MnKB, but there's a lot of value to be found if you're able to react quickly enough that you can dunk on controller players. It's amazing for getting easy ninjas.

Using the controller has always been strange for me as of late with infinite. Either I overcorrect and I fly past my target, or my aiming is so slow I can't keep up with my target in 1v1s in BR fights. lol, it could just be a skill issue on my part. I get about 2-3 hours of free time on a good day, so I wouldn't put it past just me needing to adjust more of my aiming settings.

My DMs are open if you don’t want to post it here - but yeah what you’re describing sounds like adjusting sensitivity / deadzones should get you there.

It’s a painful experience to get infinites aiming to feel proper, if you’ve played older titles you can’t carry the settings over 1to1.

The best thing about aiming with a mouse is that it's all mostly down to you. You're not fighting against aim assist or terrible thumbsticks.

Good luck! One thing I’ll say is reverse your instincts and start on a very low sensitivity and step up as opposed to going really high and lowering.

Once you stop overscanning your targets you’ll know you’re in a good spot 👍🏻

That’s a much more specific situation to look at once you’ve figured out roughly where you should be with sensitivities without over/under scanning

Whenever my pc had issues (it’s improved vastly since s4), I avoided ever minimizing the game, clicking around too much, etc, when it was loading. I’d wait for the bp to load before going into customization, not do anything while games loaded, etc. your laptop might just be struggling because it’s not a very optimized game and 8gb ram is probably minimum specs or lower

Ok, now my aiming feels way better. Had to do a bit of tweaking with the axial deadzones and look sensitivities, but once I managed to get it, I should be fine. Now to put it to the test. I have this really bad habit with the BR75 to constantly aim for the head, and I think that costed me alot of battles in the past since a fair number of my bullets whiff because I'm always aiming for the head. Aim center of mass, then aim up when you feel the shield is about to pop

Yeah, I think Bulldog/og shotgun are distinct enough from each other that they could both exist in the game. I know 343 have been sceptical about adding certain weapons before stating that they would only fill a role that has already been taken by another weapon.

Without going into too much detail (as I know the policy on leaks), OG shotgun probably won't happen anyway as another weapon could end up making it redundant

If you use the Yokai helmet with the Brushfire coating on the MK VII armor core it locks you out of customization. The only fix so far is to enable/disable prosthetics and then go back to Armor Hall.

Not full price, no. I'd either get it on a 50% discount or play it via Gamepass. The linear sections are weak, and the open world looks and plays homogeneously throughout. The combat is fun, and so are killing the elite enemies. If side missions in games like Far Cry are something you enjoy, you'll probably like Infinite for the most part.

I hope that 343 fixes how shock weapons work. Its so easy to shock a vehicle into uselessness. Dynamo grenades, I could understand since it constantly ticks shock damage, but the Disruptor and Shock Rifle make it way too easy to render vehicles useless. Maybe adding a number of shots before a vehicle is disabled would help. Like 3 shots from the Shock rifle, and however many more for the Disruptor

Been busy at work - but managed to get on for a few games last night... and can I add to the Bandit love!

I'm only playing Ranked at an average level - but the game just feels to flow so much better. It's nice not being shredded across the map. And I think I posted before - but the 1v1 gun fights feel genuine now.

And as an aside - other weapons are coming out to play. The needler, for example, seems to fare way better vs the Bandit than it did a BR. It seems silly given the similar TTK - but there you go.

And the thrusters are now a very valuable pick up. They can help you reverse a Bandit fray.

I'm pretty sure it's been mentioned many times that all weapons in Infinite are projectile. Just that some of them are fast enough to be virtual hitscan.

I saw a video of a Halo coach talking about long range shots of the Bandit EVO - and how you probably shouldn't - but if you do to lead them by a fraction as they are a slightly lower velocity to the BR.

I wish. Unfortunately all of these issues are still very very persistent. We (a group of us) spent 30 minutes and we’re only able to get into one custom game. Had issues connecting to the rest. I also have a clip of a glitch that insta killed us constantly until we reset our Xbox’s in Co-op. I’m not trolling, im a long time halo fan and was dying for this game to be good. Yep. They misfired a bit with the original Bandit. I still like it - but the EVO is a much better fit for a Ranked starting weapon.

But it was already a tight squeeze Sidekick - Bandit - Commando - BR. And adding the EVO just blurs things.

My take;

Change up the Sidekick. I like the suggestion of reducing it's damage vs shields - but increasing it's effectiveness post shield pop. Subsequently nerf the AR a little bit in the opposite direction and make them a start / finish duo.

Transition the Commando into more of a Halo 5 type DMR. I always thought that weapon worked well in the same game as the H5 magnum.

BR as it is. Now a valuable pick up for longer range shooting.

I don't want any changes to the sidekick, this is great weapon, i have zero complains about it. I like original bandit and id love to see this as starter, not evo.

sidekick makes a great benchmark for t-1 weapons. T-1 weapons that can't outperform the sidekick in SOME capacity need buffs.

primary offender at the moment is of course the shock pistol.

BR is a good t2 benchmark

As much as the Bandit becoming the Bandit EVO was necessary for closing the M&K and Controller gap in Ranked, just adding descope to smart link weapons would have easily fixing the biggest problems with the AR and Sidekick in the vanilla sandbox. As it stands right now, it's okay without changing how smart link works. But the sandbox is definitely muddied from the original desire to give each weapon a distinct sandbox role. And it's really weird living in a world where the BR and DMR have swapped roles entirely.

My real issue with the Bandit is that it kind of just feels like more awkward Reachite fanservice where it doesn't really feel all that 'needed'.

Like, new weapons are great, true, but I don't think 'basic precisions' was the category that needed expansion compared to, say, explosive launchers or SMGs.

Like, toss in a reworked plasma rifle or repeater, or maybe a reworked Plasma Launcher-but something like a Needle Rifle or DMR was kind of superfluous.

Anybody been having weird jittery lag problems with infinite BTB recently? Been playing this game since release and never had problems with it

I'll have low ping (15ms in the case of that video, see top right) and yet all the movement will be jittery. I can leave and go to another server though and that one will be fine.

But I've had it happen a few times today in BTB despite not experiencing it before.

If you mean any of the community custom games, you should just need to search it up in the customs browser or look up the community file share. I can remember the exact name

hey. i switch from xbox one to pc on my game pass for infinite, but whenever im trying to click play, the game firstly "crashed" (not really a crash, but closed down and reopened on its own) after i clicked "Campaign", and then in the 2nd loading screen appeared, but the game totally closed down, and i ended back to the desktop

Its an issue with computers period. I play with 3 other friends consistently. 2 of them are on PC with different builds. They also crash. One is on series X and he is fine

Two 1080s, two 2060s, and a 4060. Two laptops, 1080 and 2060. Only crashed on the second laptop and only started doing that this week.

And it's already a known bug due to shoddy Nvidia Drivers.

Disruptor ot plasma?

Plasma for noob combos (overcharged shot strips all shields)

Disruptor for worse noob combos (no overcharges, shots just deal more damage to shields) and vehicles EMP

But like, you mentioned reach multiplayer, so I guess you already knew that
