Victim mentality and recycled opinions. It’s a large reason why the entire world seems to be so negative. Basically, it generates more clicks to be negative and hateful instead of positive and uplifting most of the time, and people have sort of stopped thinking for themselves, they just find something they agree with and insist that it’s the only true reason.

Higher ups in communities tell them that they are victims of some sort of phantom entity, and that gets spread around like jam on toast

I do too, but the human minds greatest strength (and weakness) is it’s ability to focus on something and analyze it’s throughly and form conclusions.

But these conclusions are oftentimes flawed, but since we made them, they seem to be invulnerable. That doesn’t mean every time we see something we think about it. That’s why tourists get killed by animals. They’re not thinking just doing. we do it all the time on social media, we just see something, say: “Yeah, preach!!” Argue with some people, and keep scrolling

There are 2 examples of watching speedruns changing the way I play Halo forever
In Outskirts from Halo 2 you can parkour around the buildings to skip the first area and ever since I saw that I do it every single time I play that mission. The same in Reclaimer from Halo 4, now I always take the route to board the Lich right after destroying the second particle cannon to save time and it's awesome, feels like an action movie to use the jetpack like that

I don't think fans understand the implications of the end cutscene in Composer from Halo 4. It's not just that the scientists died horribly, it's also that it was one of the rare times the Master Chief had failed a mission

4 and 5 both have Chief failing at almost every nonmilitary objective he has.

I'm a huge sucker for Spartans operating alongside regular UNSC personnel like they're just a bigger, better armored guy or gal amidst a larger force

Like, some of my favorite pieces are stuff where a Spartan's directly participating with civilians or other troops in a noncombat capacity.

Especially since a big part of the IVs is that they're still half a foot into being 'human'.

Focusing on Chief's loss of humanity is great and all, but what about the people who had to make the choice between a normal life and one of unknown lifespan and constant warfare for the good of humankind?

I've personally never seen Halo Support have any reliance of getting cheaters banned, unless someone wants to show people obtaining successful ban hammers? 99.99% of the time they change their gamertags, post match/mid game, whatever, and they all manage to get away scott free and continue their habits for years. If halo mods even remotely cared about the quality of the game (and doing their JOBS...), they would join an assassination match to seek and ban the cheaters that are flying around, lag switching and rapid firing

Usually yes - they can spoof tags as many times as they want in a single match, but when the game ends you can grab the "Recently Played With" and get the actual account. You should never report the tags they are spoofing.

As Chief canonically also doesn't actually have a huge history of using Covenant-dropped weapons, usually preferring weapons he already has and just grabbing the appropriate ammo for them. There's good odds on him going through the entire campaign with just the AR and Sidekick.

I do find it a bit amusing that as a result of Mint Blitz doing the whole 'book accurate Chief' thing, people assume that means Chief's basically doing everything flawlessly all the time.

But in reality, he makes a lot of small or medium mistakes and happens to be wearing the equipment that prevents a mission end whenever a mistake is actually made, or gets help from his allies.

This is obvious even in the games, such as most of Halo 3, where he has reliable and consistent support either in his battlespace or immediately outside of it.

Well, the first time, you can actually get through most of the level while Cortana is trying to lock out reinforcements, until the Great Schism goes into full swing and you have that distraction (Which Chief has fully expressed the pragmatism to take advantage of). This is followed by the flood, which you can actually skip past fighting for the most part in Halo 2, due to a mix of camo units and just being fast/sneaky.

And in Cortana... Well, actually, I don't really have a good answer for that one. I'd assume canonically he just hauled through it all as quickly as possible because Spartans are more durable than they are on high difficulties.

I do play with friends, but not always. Still, i shouldn't be forced into losing points because all my teammates left and it's suddenly a 1v4. There's literally no winning that matchup, especially in higher ranks.

My teammates leaving mid game is 60% of my losses while playing ranked.

Because that can be abused. You could have designated quitters on your team so that way you never lose points when its clear you'll lose the match.

In the case of a 1v4, you're not losing as many points compared to if your teammates had stayed
