If you are asking about the bot reminding you to use g.restart, you can't disable this message. It only sends it in case people start talking on the channel. You can turn the bot off using the command g.end, but you will have to use g.gartic to start it again once you are going to play. But if you want to limit it even more, edit the permissions of the channels you want to forbid GarticBOT to answer. Edit the channel, go to Permissions, select GarticBOT role and leave ❌ on the "View channel" option. What the bot can't see, it can't answer.

This makes no sense. it wasnt made for kids, but you dont allow 18+ content. I think the blurred lines between right and wrong are why so many people do, in fact, host LEWD LOBBIES on this server. My suggestion is to limit messages on #🎟│invitations to like 30 seconds or w/e. People spam their invites over and over and usually those are the people desperate to get you into a NSFW lobby or just be generally tasteless from my experience. And even if you dont join those lobbies, it makes advertising your own lobby next to impossible because the invitiation thred is dominated by a streamers and their friends all posting their version of an invite code to the same exact lobby. I get DMd by people throwing slurs and unsavory comments my way because I expressed how I felt about it. There is a major lack of quality control here, and everytime I come back here for some "fun" Im subjected to nasty, toxic people that either, spam their invites, host disgusting lewd lobbies and trick you into it, or DM you cussing you out bc alls you wanna do is host a simple game of Gartic. It baffles me that the silly phone game devolved into this.

They are working around that. Each user in the lobby, the streamers friends im assuming, All post their own version of the invite code. So it is a different code, which isnt being picked up by the bots.

I will continue to politely speak my mind on the matter, and will use the proper channels, hoping that something can be done. Bots arent perfect and sometimes issues need the human touch.

Common users can play using the command g.restart/gb.restart. They can send it once the game ends.
The command g.gartic/gb.gartic is for activating the bot in a channel. So it only responds to the server owner, users with kick permission, or with the GarticMod role. All the other commands follow the same rules.

If you want to allow others to use all the commands, create a role without any special permission, name it GarticMod, and give it to whoever you want. But keep in mind that they will be able to use ALL the commands.

the same way you restrict any user to a channel.

Theres a few different ways. but overall you make it so the bot can't see all the channels and then just allow them to see the channels you want by permitting viewing the channel just for the bot.

You can do this with the help of permissions you give to a role within a channel, or just to the specific user (the bot)

Haha ok. The report system is a custom command made by an author unrelated to yagpdb. I was once told there was a guy on the Brazilian server who makes the commands. I'm not sure if this was one of their creations.

Anyway I'll keep an eye out for a different system and let you know if I see anything.

I've worked out how to use the system properly now so now I can see why it was confusing.

I think the confusing part was the built in help message which has instructions that make it more confusing... which can't be changed... the help message leaves out the prefix so if you follow the instructions it won't work.

I looked at some other bots and custom yag commands and theres some good ones that seem easier to use, but I won't recommend them until I try them out more.

I think the report tutorial channel isn't a terrible idea but it was frustrating to have to keep changing channels to know what to do, especially when I kept making mistakes. It would be easier if the instructions were also pinned in the report channel like on the BR server.

The graphic tutorial could be done more effectively, but that is a nice idea.

On another note, I prefer the Br server channel order. The layout is neater.
