COMMANDS

Commands for admins, moderators, and members with kick permissions:
:small_blue_diamond: g.gartic — starts the game (General theme by default)
:small_blue_diamond: g.end — ends the game
:small_blue_diamond: g.restart — restarts the game once the round is over
:small_blue_diamond: g.skip — skips the current drawing (only 3 per round)
:small_blue_diamond: g.hint — shows a hint for the answer (only 5 per round)
:small_blue_diamond: g.drawing — shows the current drawing again
:small_blue_diamond: g.record — shows the channel’s record:

THEMES

:small_blue_diamond: To change the theme, use g.gartic + the theme name, e.g. g.gartic animals

USING THE BOT

:small_blue_diamond: Start the bot with g.gartic
:small_blue_diamond: Guess the drawings by typing answers into the chat. The answers need to be spelled correctly, with hyphens and spaces in the correct positions.

:small_blue_diamond: You can only use 3 skips and 5 hints per round
:small_blue_diamond: Hints only show the first letter of the word

FOR SERVER OWNERS

:one: How can my members use the bot commands like g.skip and g.hint?
Create a role named exactly GarticMod (no special permissions needed). Assign that role to the members you want to allow to use all commands.

:two: What permissions are required for the GarticMod role?
None. The only thing that matters is the correct spelling: GarticMod

3️⃣ Where can I find the correct answers for the drawings?
The game DOES NOT REVEAL THE ANSWERS, even when no one gets it right. That would take away the fun and reduce playability, so the best way to play is to figure things out together or ask a more experienced player for help.

NOTE: All words come from Gartic.io, so if you’re familiar with it, you’ll have a big advantage.

4️⃣ When will it be available in my language?
Currently, the bot supports only Portuguese and English. There are no plans to add more languages for now. We are still studying how to keep all drawing translations aligned with the same word context.

5️⃣ How do I change the language?
ENGLISH - Use the command g.gartic
PORTUGUESE - Use the command gb.gartic

GARTIC PHONE F.A.Q.

1️⃣ I'm facing connection issues. What can I do?

Check your internet connection stability
Try temporarily using a different connection, such as mobile data
Clear your browser's cache and cookies

2️⃣ I'm struggling to use a graphics tablet (Wacom)
Open the Wacom Desktop Center, go to Pen Settings, select the Mapping tab, and uncheck "Use Windows Ink."

3️⃣ Why doesn't Gartic Phone have a public chat?
Adding a chat requires moderation, and the game supports 42 different languages, which makes proper moderation extremely difficult. On top of that, we can't guarantee 24/7 moderation coverage.

4️⃣ Why doesn't Gartic Phone have public rooms?
Simply because of how the game works. Imagine a room with 10 players and, suddenly, 3 of them leave to join a better match — the game breaks. The experience depends on the full engagement of all players. On top of that, public rooms require constant moderation, which isn't possible to provide 24/7.

5️⃣ Why aren't there more colors?
Actually, there are. Just click the big rectangle in your bottom-left corner, which also lets you choose colors using the RGB system.

6️⃣ Why are presets reset when I click on Custom Settings?
Presets are meant to be fixed configurations. You can’t edit a preset directly, but you can create your own custom configuration in the Custom Settings tab.

7️⃣ How do I authenticate my account to send invites here?
You need to create an authenticated room

Go to garticphone.com
Click on the AUTHENTICATED tab and select Discord
On the authorization page, click Authorize to confirm the account shown
You will then be redirected to the room
Copy the room link and share it in the invitations channel

8️⃣ How do I switch my Discord–Gartic Phone account?
When you sign in with a Discord account, your browser remembers that choice for future sessions. To use a different account, follow these steps:

Go to your Discord Account Settings (for the account currently in use) and remove Gartic Phone from the Authorized Apps section
Create a room on Gartic Phone or open the room link you want to join
On the authorization page, click Authorize to use the displayed account, or click “Not you?” to log in with another one
You will then be redirected to the room using the selected account

9️⃣ I have the invitation link, but I can’t access the room
There are a few reasons why a link might not allow you to enter a room:

The room is full
The room was closed and is no longer available (rooms close after everyone leaves)
The room requires login with Twitch or Discord, and you must sign in using the platform chosen by the host
The room requires a Twitch login, and you are banned from the streamer’s channel
You were banned from the room
