I like how your trying to be positive, but even if they're delaying it for us to ensure we get the quality we deserve, we're still being screwed. Think about this way, sure the events will be delayed for us to ensure we have a fair amount of time, but at what cost. Next season won't be delayed, it'll be ontime and the events for next season will be too. Thus, meaning that we'll be screwed because as the previous seasons events are delayed there also be affecting next seasons events. We'll have too many events happening at the same time and players that aren't on constantly we have to chose and lose out of the new events just to be able to complete the old events. Tickets will be limited to 10 meaning it'll effect our progress too, as are attention is focus on trying to play catch with the other consoles.

Its just 1 season. If anything if so worried about reps just allow them to stay and minus the days off the overall seasonal reps they ask for at bare minimum. Kicking them out just makes them feel not valued as a player and team member and that they are just a number to them. Id understand if someone thats just genreally unactive and have been given warnings.

For GL it would be better to keep evolving the game, like they did from A9 > ALU.
They get to keep a solid base of players and attract new ones.
The issue is that they are not good at retaining the players that fund this game. And I'm not talking about whales, I'm talking about regular active players, that keep buying passes.
Juicing those players is a short lived strategy.

That's a fair point, but if we're given a date for the release then we expect the release on that date. And if it's delayed then we're going to be frustrated, and it's justified to be frustrated about this additional delay. It's similar to the GTA 6 delay, players are going to be angry and give up because a company hasn't been keeping there words.

That's the other issues, they keeping information from us, we're not being told what went wrong, we're only being told it's delayed again. I personally like to know why it was delayed in the first place and again, but we're just being left to draw our own conclusions. And their compensation isn't even close to what it should be.

I'm not blaming them, but we're literally being punished for someone's mistake, as we get to watch all the other consoles play the update. And to silence us, there currently giving us only 500k credits, and 500 tokens. Until we're otherwise told something else, which is being debated. A average player can get over 1,000,000 credits a day, and for a entire week we're only being giving 500k credits. Plus, we're missing out on club rep, the entire multi-player, and car BPs.

Please consider a special hunt (or other event if necessary) for a car that global already has but switch never had the opportunity to get since we missed many seasons when unite happened. That's something all switch users can benefit from but global already had. Will go a long way to make people less upset.

I think it's important to point that out, but looking back at his messages, I get the feeling that if the season update still hasn't arrived for us, it seems to be related to a stability issue and—from what I understand (but I could be wrong)—it's linked to the Gauntlet, which is why no platform has access to it yet. Maybe this integration is handled differently on Switch, or maybe Nintendo's controls revealed something that had slipped under the developers' radar.
Maybe the update is already loaded offline while waiting for a patch, and the whole development team is trying to find a workaround, who knows.. All of this leads me to believe that even Gameloft isn't able to say when the new season will actually be released for us. I know it's not encouraging... let's wait and see...see what will come out of the hat.

The rep of a single race is displayed at the end of the race but no rep is gained in the club tab. My club is half switch, but the other players have a lot of trouble to reach the milestones without our Switch rep.

switch rep issues summary
No Switch players can earn rep in any way. The little rep gain animation/display appears in the corner at the end of a race like normal, but this rep is not added to the club nor does it fulfill the condition for the daily goal "Earn 50 rep for your club". This means that they have been missing out on 5 extra tokens per day the update has been delayed. This also means that Switch players have been unable to contribute to their clubs, putting clubs with Switch members at a disadvantage.

Switch players cannot see ANYONE's rep in the club interface - not their own, any other Switch players, or any players on other platforms. This happens in ALL clubs - clubs with only Switch players, and clubs with mixed platform membership. This also means they cannot claim club rep milestone rewards.

Players on other platforms see all Switch players' rep as 0. This has caused many mixed platform clubs to unfairly kick out their Switch members because they were unable to communicate the reason for their rep being 0.

It has been suggested a number of times that Switch players should get a bonus to rep earned for the remainder of the season to make up for this loss, don't know if this is possible but it's a good solution in my opinion

a few days ago I said I was "95% sure" that rep earned during this period would be tallied and added correctly once the update came out for Switch
I heard this being said a few times and I assumed it was correct but this was before I learned that Switch players can't even see their own rep
Knowing this, I find the notion that the rep is actually being tallied and will be added (as I previously stated) is rather unlikely and sorry for saying something without knowing the full context and getting hopes up

no I would say that's a good use of it

you should use it when you're as close to 0 bps as possible, and the number of blueprints needed for the next star is higher

eg you have a 4 star car, no extra blueprints, and want to 5star it

this would give you maximum value

Yes, I think all of those are covered by cross-play.
The issue I have read about is that XBox and Windows seem to have no ads, so you are given some amount of free bonus (without having to watch ads), but once you add mobile in the mix, those bonus get broken, and become only accessible through watching ads (on mobile).

I'm unsure if tilt (gyro) steering exists on PC, and laptop gyroscopes tend to be less accurate and more difficult to use due to the weight and size of the device, so I highly doubt it would be anywhere near as effective as compared to Switch
Your best bet would be to use a phone or a tablet - fortunately, you could still use that account on PC if you ever wanted to try gamepad/controller out

I'm not 100% sure how the transfer works but based on what I've heard other people say, I believe it works something like this

Let's call your account Account A. When you initiate a transfer, Account A is cloned, creating Account B

Account B is placed on the cross-platform web - this includes Android, iOS, MacOS, Xbox, Windows Store, Steam, and Epic Games. Account B and its progression can be freely transferred between any of these platforms - the only caveat is that linking it to any platform which allows ad rewards will lock that account out of the free daily ad reward substitutes

Both Account A and B can be played with - you can still use your Switch to play on Account A. However, its progress will NOT be synced with Account B. For example, if you unlock Car X on your Switch with Account A, it will not be reflected on B. In essence, these are now two separate accounts with individual progression

Tilt/gyro for controller is only available on Switch. I checked with customer services when we moved to ALU. They were going to ask the devs to adopt it on other platforms since many have asked for it but god knows when (if ever) that will happen. Actually, I was able to play with controller on my iPhone and having the phone connected to my TV. The latest iOS versions enable you to connect a PS5 controller to the phone but there is one flaw - a pretty big input delay.

Hi all, still digging final confirmations to be able to make a proper announcement (like tomorrow), but just wanted to give you all an early heads up in the meantime.
The team is currently looking into applying some changes to help boost rep (like rep point multipliers for switch in events), but we're still running our final tests to confirm they work as intended. Also the car of choice for the filler Special Car Hunt seems to be the Glickenhaus 007S.

Although we are still getting the delayed events, we missed:

• 1x MP 1 = 500 tokens + 2 000 000 credits
• 1x MP2 = 250 tokens + 792 000 credits
• Daily Goals = 70 tokens (14 days x 5 tokens for reputation goal)
  TOTAL: 820 tokens + 2 792 000 credits.

In face of this, the compensation seems to fall short.
